I've had this problem too, and had mechanics tell me it was incorrect tire pressure. On a new Dunlop on the front, I got only 4k miles before the tire was cupped and worn down to the wear strip. I have the aluminum wheels. Has anyone ever had theirs checked and found out they weren't true ? If an aluminum is not true or is out of round, is it even possible to straighten it ? |

In my younger days, I didn't wear a helmet - my personal choice. Now I wear one every time I ride for no other reason than I promised my son I would. How can I expect him to wear a helmet on his bike or skateboard, if I'm not willing to wear one when I ride ? |

I was also looking for some nice saddlebags - something that can be locked, and fits with the styling of my Retro. The Mutazu one look cool , I don't know about the quality. I spoke with a rep from EasyBrackets , who said their product would work with them, and seems a lot nicer than the the generic mounting brackets that Mutazu offers. Andy |

Hi All , My name is Andy. I just got a new 2007 1300 Retro. I live in Parker with my wife Sonja and my 7 year old son Robert. Sonja doesn't like to ride, but Robert sure does. I've been riding since 1974, when I had a Honda Trail 70 ( I was 10 !). Since then I have lots of dirt bikes, a Magna and now the VTX. Though I've been riding a long time, I have very little experience riding with large groups- so I look forward to improving my skills and meeting some new friends. Andy |
